Viceroy Riviera Maya, A Luxury Villa Resort - Adults Only

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The villa room was spacious and beautifully appointed, and I loved having my own private plunge pool. The hotel facilities were top-notch, from the central pool by the beach to the two fantastic restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The location of this hotel is truly stunning, nestled in a rainforest with beautifully manicured gardens and a pristine beach. Plus, the a-la-carte breakfast with its wide range of delicious options was a great way to start the day.

The location of the hotel is quite far from Playa del Carmen, making it expensive to take a taxi if you want to explore the area. the resort does require a lot of walking, which may not be ideal for those with mobility issues.

The food at the hotel, particularly at the La Marea restaurant, is delicious and of excellent quality, with standout dishes like chilaquiles and carne asada. Guests can also enjoy the palapas on the beach and take advantage of the great beach service.

The noise from the neighboring resort, particularly during the day, can be obtrusive at times, but it does not significantly impact the overall experience.

This hotel is the perfect place for a luxurious and peaceful stay. the staff is attentive and friendly, fulfilling all of our exclusive needs. the Spa & wellness centre offers a variety of treatments, including body wraps and facials, and the steam room is well kept. the lounge chairs and beach umbrellas on the beachfront are perfect for soaking in the sun and the outdoor dining area is cozy and private.

The plunge pool in the villa was not as warm as we expected. But, this is only a minor issue compared to the other exclusive amenities that the hotel offers.
